About

In 2009, I was on the Justin Long/Drew Barrymore film called "Going the Distance" followed up by "What's Wrong with Virginia?" directed by Dustin Lance Black and starring Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, and Emma Roberts.
What's wrong with VirginiaWe shot "What's Wrong with Virginia" in a beautiful little town called Holland, Michigan and I had the honor of taking care of Ed Harris who was absolutely one of the coolest cowboys I've ever met.

A film that I'm very proud of is "Away We Go" directed by Sam Mendes. When we were shooting, it was called Farlanders after the main character's name Bert Farlander played by John Krasinski. It was shot in Conneticut, Arizona and Miami, Florida. Maya Rudolph was wearing a prosthetic stomach to make her look pregnant throughout the movie. The stomach was very hot to wear because of the heat in Arizona and Miami, but Maya never complained and working with her and the entire cast was a wonderful experience.

In 1990, the first major motion picture I worked on was "A League of Their Own" directed by Penny Marshall. One of the actors was Madonna, who was already a huge star . I was in my early twenties and was a big fan of her early albums. At the wrap party I was blessed to share the dance floor with one of my teen Idols.

I do two or three movies a year on the average but I'm always actively managing my father's company which helps men and women who suffer from hair loss. I oversee any film work that comes in and I deal primarily with women who are taking chemotherapy drugs for cancer. Our salon is a hair replacement salon and is located on Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan's Murray Hill section. You can read more about helping people on my yourHAIRx page.
